Tidewell Robotics

Healthcare

Non-clinical logistics first, through the one gate every public hospital uses.

3 September 2026

The gate

Every robot in Singapore public healthcare integrates through RoMi-H, the Robotics Middleware for Healthcare built on Open-RMF. Empanelment runs through CHART at Changi General Hospital. We are pursuing empanelment and work with empanelled integrators until then.

Non-clinical first

A delivery robot with no diagnostic or therapeutic purpose is outside the medical-device definition. Taking vitals, dispensing medication or assisting rehabilitation makes it a registered device. We start on the right side of that line and cross it deliberately, product by product.

Demand

The Ministry of Health plans 13,600 more beds between 2025 and 2030. One in four Singaporeans will be 65 or older by 2030. About 6,000 additional care staff are needed each year.
